What are we doing?

ScanRo, which emerged from Magnum Speditionsgesellschaft, has been based in Rostock for over 20 years and has developed into a comprehensive service provider in the seaport of Rostock with around 40 employees, and not just since the takeover by Baltic Lloyd Schiffahrt Spedition Logistik GmbH in 2013

Our activities focus on a trailer workshop for the inspection and repair of truck trailers used throughout Europe as part of regular safety checks and general inspections. The daily on-site inspections of our combined service directly at the terminal, immediately between arrival at the seaport and the onward journey by ship, rail or truck, are intended to ensure safety on the further transport route and avoid delays in the supply chains. Our range of services also includes the reconstruction of trailers that have been involved in accidents.

Another focus is our technical service for the maintenance and repair of our own port handling and port transfer technology as well as for companies based in the port as a neutral service provider.

A third mainstay is our roll trailer service, which rents out our own roll trailers and tractor units (Tugmasters) for the transportation of goods in RO-RO traffic or for internal plant traffic, maintains this fleet or also adapts it to the individual needs of the customer through conversion.

Last but not least, our truck wash in the harbor area rounds off our truck and trailer services. Almost all trucks and trailers can be professionally cleaned here.
